With less than a year to go, it is time to prepare for Making Tax Digital (MTD) for Income Tax. The UK government aims to modernise the tax system, replacing the old Self-Assessment tax return with a new quarterly reporting obligation.
As of April 2025, HMRC are sending letters to self-employed individuals and landlords that may need to comply.
